Introducing Our 2 Mitsubishi Jeeps

A Symbol of Adventure and Exploration : Mitsubishi jeeps

Since 2011, Cambodia Jeep has been thrilled to offer unforgettable vintage jeep tours through the captivating landscapes of Cambodia. Our journey began with a single MUTT 151, and over the years, our passion for exploration has driven us to amass a fleet of 14 MUTT151 jeeps. We are excited to announce the expansion of our fleet with the addition of two Mitsubishi jeeps. Yes, you read that right – Mitsubishi jeeps! Prepare to be amazed by this historical connection.

In 1953, Willys Corporation USA granted Mitsubishi a license to produce jeeps in Japan. This partnership spanned over four decades, lasting until 1998. The majority of these jeeps were built on the CJ3B chassis, resulting in an impressive collection of over 30 models rolling out of the Japanese factory.

Cambodia Jeep is now proud to offer two of these exceptional Mitsubishi jeeps for our Cambodia tours. Our jeep tours primarily operate in Siem Reap, venturing into the renowned Angkor Wat, the sacred Phnom Kulen, and the floating village of Kampong Khleang. We also venture off the beaten path, exploring routes inaccessible to tuk-tuks and buses, ensuring an unparalleled adventure for our guests.

Immerse yourself in the authentic Cambodian experience and discover hidden gems beyond the ordinary. Last year, we expanded our offerings to include self-drive jeep tours across Cambodia. These customizable tours range from 2 to 15 days, catering to every explorer’s desire.

Off-the-Beaten-Path Wonders:

While Cambodia’s iconic landmarks are undoubtedly breathtaking, the self-drive Jeep tour unveils hidden gems that are off the beaten path. Imagine stumbling upon serene landscapes, hidden waterfalls, and untouched natural beauty that only the adventurous few get to witness. It’s an invitation to explore the lesser-known side of Cambodia, away from the crowds and tourist hotspots.

We understand every adventure is unique. All our jeep tours are fully customizable – adjust the days, choose your accommodations, and pick the activities that spark your excitement.”

But before you hop behind the wheel, be prepared for an experience far removed from your typical road trip.

First things first, an international driving license is your passport to this four-wheeled odyssey. Forget sleek sedans or GPS navigation. Here, you’ll command a classic jeep, some over 60 years old, ready to tackle off-road paths and reveal hidden Cambodia.

Don’t be fooled by their age, though. These jeeps are lovingly maintained in our own workshop, prepped for the rigors of the journey. But hey, adventure isn’t paved, and even the best-laid plans can hit a bump. That’s why we send an experienced guide and a dedicated support car, complete with a mechanic, on every self-drive tour.

Worried about navigating the wilds alone? Choose your comfort level! Your guide can ride shotgun in your jeep, offering insights and navigating tricky terrain, or cruise alongside in the support car, always within radio range. Communication is key, and our trusty radios ensure you’re never truly alone.

So, are you ready to swap comfort for character, trade asphalt for adventure, and experience Cambodia from the driver’s seat of a vintage legend? If the call of the open road whispers in your ear, Cambodia’s self-drive jeep tours await. Just buckle up, embrace the unpredictable, and savor the journey, both smooth and bumpy, as you write your own Cambodian adventure.
